I grew up in Trieste, where a school trip to CERN made me choose physics. In cosmology I found my balance between theory, data and code: during my PhD at SISSA and my postdoc at the University of Geneva, I built tools that test models of the Universe against real observations. Along the way I led an international team, taught in English and French, and founded a conference. I bring passion, attention to detail and a fast learner's curiosity to everything I do. Now I want to put these skills to work on meaningful, real-world problems, with a particular interest in health technology.

Maria Berti
I am a theoretical physicist and data scientist, and I bridge mathematical models and real data. I find beauty in untangling the chaos of the unknown through the elegance of a rigorous model, and I enjoy turning complex problems into creative, effective solutions.
